David Watts - WA

David Watts is a 16-year-old student at Churchlands Senior High School, WA. Three years ago at age 13, he was chosen to become a part of the Talent Identification Development programme, run through the West Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS), as a Rower. Following the tragic loss of his father to cancer, David approached Integrated, seeking financial support to back his participation in a sport that does not come cheaply.

Over the past three years, David has competed in many competitions and accomplished many achievements including his selected to represent Australia, as the youngest member of the rowing team, for the Youth Olympics held in Sydney in January. He came third and took home a Bronze medal. David also participated in the Queen’s baton relay during the Melbourne Commonwealth Games 2006 on its Perth leg.

David is currently training hard and working towards his long-term goal to compete at the 2012 London Olympics. Integrated is proud to be supporting David to achieve his goal.
